How is the life of stone-masons depicted in the poem ? Describe in your own words.
Answer:
Stone-masons are great artists. They carve stones into beautiful shapes. They bring stones to life. They create dreams out of stones. They work very hard but thier work goes unrewarded and unrecognised. They live in poverty. Their lives are miserable. They are exploited. They die unknown.

Question 2.
What is the attitude of the speaker to his work ? Why did he become a stonemason?
Answer:
The speaker takes pride in his work. He glorifies a mason’s work. He choose to be mason because his father was a mason. He knew that a mason’s life was miserable. But the wanted to world to recognised and value the mason’s art. A mason in an artist and he wanted that he should be recognised as an artist.

Question 3.
Talk to the stone-masons in your locality and do a project work on them.
Answer:

Shobhit : Well, how do you do ?
Stone-mason : I am quite well sir, why you have called me ?
Shobhit : I want to know, about your art of stoned-mason and your problems. I also want to place order for a statue.
Stone-mason : Our life is hard and miserable. We do not fet suitable return of our work. Place me your order and I shall supply you a statue similar to your expectation.
Shobhit : I want to have an image of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. I shall discuss it with my parents and place the order to you. Will you comply it.
Stone-mason : Offcourse, to your satisfaction. Accept my regards.
Shobhit : Same to you.
