HINDI TRANSLATION OF THE POEM

All : Listen to me children …………… the recycling rap.

Word meaning : Planet ( m ) [ प्लैनेट ] = ग्रह । Generation ( n ) [ जेनरेशन ] = पीढ़ी , संतति । Reclamation ( n ) [ रिक्लेमेशन ] = पुराने रूप में फिर से लौटाने की प्रक्रिया , पुनः प्राप्ति । Sitting on the fence ( phr ) [ सीटिंग ऑन द फेन्स ] = तटस्थ बने रहना , कोई प्रतिक्रिया नहीं देना । Pussy footing ( v ) [ पुसी फूटिंग ] = सावधानी बरतते हुए अपने विचार देना । Claptrap ( n ) [ क्लैपट्रैप ] = बेतुकी बातें , बकवास । Dump ( v ) [ डम्प ] = कूड़ा फेंकना या गाड़ना । Tip ( n ) [ टिप ] = कूड़ा फेंकने का स्थान । Bundle ( n ) [ बन्डल ] = गट्ठर । Skip ( n ) [ स्किप ] = कूड़ेदानी । Save – A – Can ( n ) [ सेव – अ – कैन ] = बड़ा कूड़ेदान ।

कविता का अर्थ –
सभी:-
सुना ध्यानपूर्वक मेरी बातों को बच्चो ।
हमें रिसाइक्लिंग कारना है ।
पानी , उपयोग की गयी वस्तुओं का
दुबारा से उपयोग करना है ।
यही रास्ता है भविष्य की पीढ़ी को बचाने का ।
इस खेल का नाम है रिक्लेमेशन ।
यानी वस्तुओं की पुनः प्राप्ति ।
तुम्हें रिसाइक्लिंग करना है ।
इसमें समझ की बात है ।
तटस्थ बने रहना छोड़ दो ।
छोड़ दो ज्यादा सोच – विचार ।
शुरू करो रिसाइक्लिंग का गीत ।

स्वर -1 :
आओ और रिसाइक्लिंग शुरू करो ।
आज से ही यह काम शुरू करो ।
पुराने अखबारों को बचाओ , उन्हें फेंको मत ।
उन्हें कूड़ेदान में ले जाकर मत डाल दो ।
उन्हें गट्ठर बना बाँधकर पुन : उपयोग हेतु
एक ओर को इकट्ठा कर रख दो ।

स्वर 2 :
जमा करो उन्हें , भविष्य को बचाना
तुम्हारे ही हाथ में अब भविष्य है ।
अपने पुराने सारे शीशे के बोतल और
जैम की शीशिओं को भी जमा कर रखो ।
फिर उन्हें ले जाओ बोतल बैंक में ।
जहाँ से वे भेजे जाएँगे कारखाने में ।
वहाँ बनाया जायेगा उन्हें पुनः उपयोग के लायक ।
इस तरह से तुम ऊर्जा को बचाओगे ।

स्वर 3 :
टिन के बने खाली पेय पदार्थ के बरतनों को
लापरवाहीपूर्वक मत फेंको इधर – उधर ।
जो कहा है मैंने उसे याद रखो ।
उनका तुम पुन : उपयोग करो ।
उन्हें धोओ , निचोड़ो और दबाकर उन्हें
चपटा कर दो , एकदम पिचका दो ।
फिर उन्हें ले जाओ , उनके लिए बने ।
खास फेंकने के स्थान पर और डाल दो ।

Summary :
” The Recycling Rap ‘ ( gari suatu art at tita ) poem is composed by the English Poet John Foster . It is a serious poem . The poem deals with the saving of our environment .
The poet says in the poem that recycling of the things  is  very necessary . By doing this our planet will become less polluted . This is a necessary step to save our future generation .

सारांश —
‘ द रिसाइक्लिंग रैप ‘ ( दुबारा उपयोग करने का गीत ) व पिता के कवि हैं , अंग्रेजी भाषा के प्रसिद्ध कवि जॉन फोस्टर । प्रस्तुत कविता एक गंभीर कविता है । प्रस्तुत कविता में पृथ्वी के वातावरण को बचाने की चिंता साफ – साफ अभिलक्षित होती है । कवि प्रस्तुत कविता में कहता है कि हम जिन चीजों का उपयोग करते हैं , उनका दुबारा उपयोग किया जाना या उस लायक बनाना , आज के समय की सख्त जरूरत है । ऐसा करने से ही हमारी धरती कम प्रदूषित हो सकती है । यह हमारी भविष्य की पीढ़ी को बचाने के लिए बेहद जरूरी है ।

Ans . Glass , can , paper , polythene bag newspaper , bottles etc.

Ans . I have made toys and project work of drawing from some discarded things as – paper clip , hair pin , old toys , old pin , old and torn clothes , colourful threads of rakhi , old calendar etc.

Ans . We can use cans , bottles and jars as flower pots . Old papers could be used as paper bags too . Think of other ways yourselves , discussing with your friends .

In the title of the poem ‘ Recycling Rap ‘ , ‘ recycling ‘ is used as an adjective but as a noun in ‘ We’ve got to start recycling ‘ . In fact , a noun made of a verb + ing a called a Gerund which is a verbal noun .

He had a hard time saving money .Ansu had difficulty learning English prepositions.— gerund is used after the nun in the following expressions : have difficulty ,have a difficult time, have experience ,have fun ,have a good time, have a hard time , have a problem, have trouble, spend time ,spend money etc.

Ayesha loves giving food to the poor people. My teacher comments saving money. I can’t imagine not helping others. — many words are followed by a gerund.
